I was never a mechanic

I never had a moped or motorbikes as a youngster. But when I got this bike for my kids to learn on and when they were done with it, I had two choices: sell it and get my €1,000 back — or make it cool and learn some bike mechanics. I did the latter. With a new garage and a lot of time on my hands over winter, I started taking it apart.

The build

Taking a bike apart is easy. It's getting everything back together that's the problem. With help from YouTube and Facebook groups I got it done well enough to call it "a bike that I rebuilt."
